Work Sharp® and knife making legend Ken Onion have partnered to create the Angle Set Knife Sharpener for edge enthusiasts who like to sharpen manually.
This benchtop sharpener delivers a wide range of edge angles and makes sharpening fast and easy.
The Tri-Brasive® 3 sided sharpening surface provides 320 grit coarse and 600 grit fine diamond plates to quickly restore a sharp edge, while the fine grit ceramic stone creates an incredibly keen edge on any knife.
Abrasives rotate for quick indexing between grits making it fast and easy. Sharpening Angles can be set to 15°, 17.5°, 20°, 22.5° or 25°.
Conveniently folds down and stows in a compact case. Ceramic tapered hone included for serrations.

Great sharpener. Not for reprofiling a badly damaged blade. But gets the job done. The ceramic stone on one side of mine cracked within a couple of uses, still works fine, was just surprised.

After owning this item for over a year, I can now leave a review with honest feedback.
The set-up for this sharpener is very simple, as is selecting the angle which you require.
The stones rotate for ease of selection.
Hold your blade vertically and use light pressure as you slide the blade down the stone. Start at the knife heel and work your way to the tip as you slide it down the stone. Go slowly at first to get the feel. It soon becomes very instinctive and easy to sharpen.
i have only used the sharpener on straight edges (no serrations). i have sharpened everything from pocket knives to large kitchen chef’s knives. This product works effectively on all sized knives.
I recommend this sharpener to anyone who would use this at home or at a camp site. The item is too large to carry while on hikes or backpacking.

As idiot-proof as it gets.
+ No tip rounding like on the motorized sharpeners.
+ Easily portable unit (great for camp or vehicle).
+ Grits are effective and extreme – Coarse is very coarse – Fine is very fine.
+ Abrasive pads are nice and thick.
+ Best Axe/Tool sharpener I have ever used.
– Would like to see a small bubble level installed in the base.
– No diamond cone for repairing serrations (only ceramic)
– Case is a bit flimsy.
– Abrasive pads are narrow (good for recurve blades I guess).
Highly reccomend over a Lansky Turnbox
