The Guided Sharpening System is our complete benchtop sharpening and honing system. It was created with both novice and master sharpeners in mind and can be used to sharpen every knife you own.
The innovative Pivot-Response® system follows the curve of the blade while sharpening, putting a sharp edge along the entire length of the blade. The skill is built into the tool, so it makes sharpening fun and easy to learn thanks to 17° & 20° Angle Guides. The angle guided hone can be used separately and taken with you out into the field so you can maintain your edges away from your benchtop.
Use the Guided Sharpening System to put a perfect edge on your pocket, hunting, and kitchen knives – as well as serrations, fish hooks, and tools – while mastering your manual sharpening skills.

This kit is a superb product. Even BETTER with the upgrade kit adding an extra corse and extra fine steel. Very versitle. Way superior to the BENCHSTONE KNIFE SHARPENER™ WITH TRI-BRASIVE AND PIVOT-RESPONSE. I have both kits by the way. Going to buy the Ceraminc plate and use it on this kit.

Works great this is my favorite sharpener. I prefer bench top sharpeners over electric and with the pivot response you get a razor sharp edge. Get the additional kit with the other abrasive plates and strop also. I own 2 work sharp sharpeners and I really wish both came with a good zipper pouch. That’s my only complaint. Other than that work sharp sharpeners are the best I think

Just got this to use on my new Maserin Nimrod which has an M390 4″ blade. Broke the plates in and practised on a few cheaper blades. Just using the basic kit plus a strop took me only 5-10 minutes to get my knife to hair popping sharpness. From the factory it would only cut the odd hair with difficulty.
I have previously tried other brands/types of sharpeners with limited success. I have never managed to get a knife this sharp and additionally it is easy to use. Would highly recommend it.
