Works great to start an edge but the fine belts don’t hold up AT ALL. Wear out a higher grit to a fine belt if you want to refine an edge cause the others just pop right apart with even the lightest touch. Don’t waste your money on the 1800 and 6000 grit.

I just got started sharpenlng and this system is just awesome. With what is supplied in initial kit it has served my every need. I have sharpened garden and general yard tools to professional zero turn mowers, and general purpose household scissors to high dollar case pocket knives. (Do practice on lesser expensive knives to perfect edging and honing skills first.) A Real super tool.
