Makes quick work of chisels
I bought this to sharpen chisels. I have tried two and both became razor sharp with only a little effort. The videos and the white paper made it very easy to replicate. I was able to get the job done with the 4 grits supplied. However, having an 80 grit would have helped with the process. The extra finer grain papers are nice to produce a mirror finish, but not needed for getting a razor sharp edge. Do watch the videos to avoid problems getting started.

What a easy job in sharpening my lathe tools. Easier and sharper after than my previous tedious multi step tasks. Sharper tools equals easier turning and more frequent sharpening due to the ease of use. Have had a Drill Doctor for years and you all have done it again. Thanks.

simple, quick and scary sharp plane irons and chisels
Been using stones to sharpen plane irons and a Jet water sharpener for the chisels. On the recommendation of a professional woodworker who also works at Woodcraft, I bought the WS3000 and the wide blade attachment. Money well spent, easy to use and the results are fantastic. I will be demonstrating & recommending this tool to my woodworking guild.
