    I love it, I hate to tell people this but, even if the fine steel is smooth "like a baby's butt" it still works great, when it gets smooth that just means the bigger lose and jagged diamonds are gone and the stone has been broke-in properly. When you first get a diamond sharpening stone you are supposed to get a scrap piece of metal and rub it on the stone to get rid of loose and jagged stones that can harm your knifes edge before you use it on your knifes!!! My fine stone is super smooth also and works great, just the way it is supposed to!!! So if you think just because it's to smooth and you think the diamonds cutting surface is gone, think again, it's probably gotten perfect!!! GOOD AND HAPPY SHARPENING!!!

    I,am very satisfied with my worksharp parts order , the guided field sharpener is a great product and reasonably priced, I have a wicked edge pro that I’ve had for a long time but I find myself using my worksharp most of the time for touch up. Thanks worksharp

    I'm sharpen probably 50 knives with it and just put a razor edge on an old butcher knife
