This unit will repace all your sharpening tools.
I bought the original Work Sharp unit two years ago and was satisfied with it. It took a place beside my Edge Pro Apex and Wicked Edge sharpeners. Yes, I am a knife sharpening geek!
But then I saw the Ken Onion model of the Work Sharp. I bought it immediately. I think I am one of the first owners! It is amazing. With the precise angle control, the stronger motor, and the killer accessories, this sharpener has replaced all my sharpeners. I sold my other systems on eBay and now use the Ken Onion model Work Sharp exclusively. I can’t wait to get the upgrade knife shaper on October 14th. I know this sounds like a commercial, but I can assure you I paid my own good money for this unit and I am 100% satisfied.
If you are into stones…that’s great. But if you want to sharpen any knife razor sharp in less than 10 minutes, then this is the sharpener for you. To be honest, you could start a business using this sharpener! Have fun! JH
