This knife is just amazing. The 20cv offers really good corrosions resistance. I spent a week at a lake with this and it was in my hand the whole week. From opening otter pops cutting food boxes fishing line bait I even used it to gut a fish. I also took it under water to cut some rope from a trap that got stuck and all I had to do was wash and dry the knife after every water use and it stayed in perfet condition. The handle texture works really well when getting wet and provide excellent grip. After all this use and more It was still stupidly sharp and I just took 10 strokes on the leather strop and was back to the sharpness it came with. This steel also offers really great edge retention. So if you’re looking for a knife to use in a water environment or EDC this is the one.

I was surprised to see this Sprint Run if the Bugout. Bass Pro and Cabela’s have a nice one as well. Great to see that WS selected a great Super Steel. For the casual collector who is not into steel, one of the reasons this bugout cost more than the standard blue handle with s30v steel is because of how premium CPM 20cv is. s30v is a super steel while 20cv is ultra premium super steel and arguably the best all around blade steel you can purchase. It is compared to m390. Great pick WS!
