    No replacement part

    It's a great sharpener but the plastic guide has retired and I can't order or find a new replacement..not good!

    It works well.

    I have kept our kitchen knives extremely sharp over the years, and have sharpened my sonโ€™s kitchen knives as needed. This works very very (yep, TWO โ€˜โ€™Verys โ€˜โ€™) well. WE have not suffered from a dull knife over the years. One Hint:

    Background: For some reason our 10โ€™โ€™ kitchen knife became dull and would not sharpen. After wearing out my arm using repeated passes on the red and then gray belts (I think 225g and 600g), I decided to use the green belt (I think 80g). Two passes on the green belt restored the edge and I was then able to sharpen it in the normal fashion with the red and gray belts.

    I own a cover and sewing shop sharpens my scissors perfect other guys bring in their scurries to sharpen we all think it is great
