Just bought this sharpener today and came home sharpened 14 knives in my kitchen it did a fantastic job every knife will slice paper and right through tomato’s with ease .

Great entry level sharpener. Like other reviews, I wish we had the option of coarse, medium, and fine grinding discs. It would be nice to get new o-rings with them as well. Aside from that, this sharpener is very easy to use and very intuitive. I would buy another one without hesitation.

I’ve been using this knife sharpener about 3 months now and am very satisfied with it. I have a large set of stainless steel knives that had become rather dull and hard to put an edge on. Once received, I used the sharpener to put an edge on all of the knives – especially the two chef’s knives that I use daily. I was successful in my efforts and daily use the burring attachment to restore the edge. Once a week, I use the sandpaper wheels to lightly grind the edges and then burr the edge. Today, I flipped the two sandpaper wheels to the new edge as the original edge had become too smooth due to use. The unit is not heavy duty but easy to use and compact enough to keep on the kitchen counter. For the price it provides excellent value. I’d give it a five except for the fact that the rubber pads that protect the countertop and help keep the unit “sticking” to the countertop were poorly glued and I immediately lost one and now have an unbalanced unit. Attention to detail is part of the quality equation and so poorly glued that one of the rubber feet fell off on the first day results in a one star deduction.
