    Quick and easy to get an edge

    This is just as described. It's better than the fixed carbide type that will ruin the blade, but not as time consuming as a stone. This has put a "like new" edge on an old kitchen knife and is keeping my longer carving knives sharp for prime rib and brisket.

    It does what is says.

    I'm a home cook that needs to sharpen kitchen knives/scissors. Being the type to research things, there were many more complicated (fancy) and expensive choices but this one stood out. I chose it for it's simplicity, good reviews, small foot print and because I wanted to support an American company. I've used it a few times since it arrived and it worked well. I would buy it again.
